Thanks, Peter, for your kind words.
I've posted some pictures at my Facebook page and a couple videos. One is of the museum's director Gen. Metcalf speaking in acceptance of the monument, and the second, of my father talking about what it was like on a B-29 mission. That video is shot inside of a section of a B-29 fuselage. You can find the pictures at http://www.new.facebook.com/album.php?aid=155990&... and videos at http://www.new.facebook.com/edbrenegar?v=app_2392... Once I get some writing projects done, I'll edit some more videos and post them.

Ed,

Thanks for another great post.

Today when we read the headlines in the business and political sections of our newspapers, or more likely websites, it seems that the concept of honor is one sorely missing. I'm a firm believer that things run on cycles and let's hope the current one is short lived. With all of the extraordinary challenges that we face today, to attempt to solve them without honor would seem to be an impossible task.

Thanks for reminding us of what some extraordinary individuals accomplished in World War II through honor. Also, thanks for all of you great contributions to Weekly Leader!
