TweeterLeader follows organizational leaders (founder, chairperson, ceo, president, managing director, executive director, etc.) that are members of the popular social networking and micro-blogging service Twitter. Twitter allows users to send and read other users’ updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length. If you aren’t signed up for your free account yet you can do so here. (See below for more.)
TwitterLeader gives a glimpse into the daily lives of leaders who use this new one to many communication tool to build relationships with their employees, clients, customers, friends, family and anyone else who has a Twitter account and follows them. TweeterLeader was launched after a short social media conversation I had with Sir Richard Branson, chairman of the Virgin Group about his recent failed attempt to set the transatlantic crossing record under sail.
Clicking on the leaders avatars will take you to their website and click on their names to visit their Twitter pages. There is a short version of this page at the right bottom of the Weekly Leader homepage as well.
If you know of any organizational leaders that use Twitter, please send a Tweet @TweeterLeader or enter their name here
